The Window Manager Report - Notes: ahwm (20080421)
Disclaimer: these notes are guaranteed to be incomplete, and they are probably also wrong. Use them at your own risk.
- 20080419: Chad Perrin of Tech Republic thinks this WM is as close to perfect as any WM around
- 20080421: my attempt to compile failed with several warnings like
this:
move-resize.c: In function "resize_client": move-resize.c:798: error: label at end of compound statement
This is fixed by noticing that all of these errors (some of which crop up in prefs.c as well) occur at the end of "switch" statements where he's created an empty "default:" option. Adding a "break;" on the next line got me something that would compile. [I am not a programmer and this may be totally insecure or make your computer explode. I am not responsible.]
