At the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, this sculpture faces you at the top of the stairs as you walk in the door. This is Antonio Canova's "Theseus Defeats the Centaur." These days we tend to view Centaurs in a more positive (and more mythological) light (many myths hold that they're very intelligent, and they're good guys in Harry Potter). But in this particular myth they were the aggressors.
