Locally known as the "Chicken Church" or the "Rooster Church" because of its weather vane (which is very hard to see up atop the cross in this photo), Danang (in Vietnam) Cathedral came along at a good time for me. I was craving stained glass, and the cathedral delivered.

Also hard to see here is that Saint Michel is standing on top of a defeated dragon/gryphon/snake ... thing. Both saints have taken some damage to the glass, and I was disappointed to see that the rose window has been damaged too.

People burn lots of incense to the Virgin Mary in a grotto outside. A typically Buddhist practice.
