The Winter Olympics

I love and adore the Olympics. For the ten years I was working in the U.S., whenever the Olympics came on I would go straight home from work every day and watch about four hours of TV. Fortunately(?) my current hotel room has a TV, so I get the occasional partial fix. The coverage is pure BBC, which is rather nice: American coverage tends to cover nothing but American athletes (some of the best in the world, yes, but variety is good). BBC coverage is less biased, and in this case they don't have much in the way of athletes to cover! Here's a plug for my favourite country in the world: Canadian Olympics Coverage [a link to CBC Sports when the Olympics aren't on]. Seventh on the medal ranking on day five, not bad for such a small country (I'm talking population here, not area). Curling and hockey, that's us!
